+ New Recordings (01/07/2008 - 10:06:10)
Stevie's recently been recording some new material with bassist Trevor Bolder of Uriah Heep, the latest of which is the track 'Wild Trash', which you can listen to on the King of Noize page. Stevie is also in talks with John McCoy of GMT & Gillan about a line-up for gigs next year.
We're really pleased with how it's all turning out.
...i'm currently recording a brand new song with Trevor Bolder (of Uriah Heep) called "Wild Trash". It's not quite finished yet but so far it's sounding REALLY great,... I'm really excited about how it's turning out.
Also i've just written the last Ze Suicide Diary for Classic Rock magazine. I've been asked to write a book about my life as a musician playing Rock 'n' Roll, and the stories in the Diaries will be in it, as well as much more. I'm really excited about this too.
So, although it appears its been a bit quiet around here lately, we have been getting on with alsorts of things. There's some shows planned too, more on those at a later date.
Keep on Rockin'

"Hi. Just done a show at "Part Under The Stars" in Norfolk with "The Bay City Rollers"..it's great working with Eric Faulkner, he asked me to play bass & be up front on the stage with him. We only had two rehearsals,..but it was ok, cos we had the great Robin Guy on drums, what could be better!!
Had a great time, pic's can be viewed on the galleries on myspace.com/kingofnoize and myspace.com/zesuicide.
Hope to be out doin' Ze Suicide soon, but many thanks to everyone who is so supportive of what i do.
Love ya be Bad, very Bad & keep rockin' "
...cos i wanted to say thankz to everyone for the emails, messages & letters...
I've just been designing a range of t-shirts for the ZeSuicide Online Shop which should be up & running soon, there are 6 different designs so far.
I've just got a copy of Vice Squad's album, called "Defiant" and it's great, check out all tracks if ya like Real Rock 'n' Roll at it's very best. Beki's lyrics are BRILLIANT!! and her band's amazin', there's a track called "Don't Let The Bastards Grind You Down" (track 4) and it's so true about people doin' your head in. In fact the whole album is a breath of fresh air & great music.
Now, I've been writing some more stories about the people i've worked with in the past, they're Classic Rock Magazine's website, just go on http://www.classicrockmagazine.com then look for "The Ze Suicide Diaries". They were just for a laugh at first but everyone seems to like them, so now they're part of a book I'm gonna write - which might take forever to finish, but should be ready next year - called "Life like Suicide". People in my stories include Freddie Mercury and a bit of James Bond!! Kiss, The Stones, The Damned, having a beverage with Eric Clapton & Ringo, oh and the time I pinched a few beers off old Phil Collins....poor devil met Mr. Suicide and has probably never been the same since!! Anyway, it's all on classicrockmagazine.com and it's ALL true i'm afraid.
So, hope to see ya at some fest's later this year, I know I'm doing the "Acoustic Festival" at Nantwich, Cheshire on 29th July, check out http://www.acousticfestival.co.uk and i'm really lookin' forward to playing at the "RebellionFestival" in Blackpool, thatz between 9th to 12th August at the Blackpool Winter Gardens, coz that one's the biggest Punk Fest in Europe.
Anyway!! Lookin' forward to seeing you all.... Punk Rock Never Stopz!! Keep Rockin'
